Cindy OmidiOver the course of her life, Cindy Omidi has held a number of different titles. For much of her life, Cindy has occupied herself providing realtor services in California. Not long ago, she and her two sons, Julian Omidi and Michael Omidi, increased their philanthropic endeavors and founded several charities, including No More Poverty.
Throughout my life, I have seen the devastating effects of poverty. Those who, through no fault of their own, lack opportunities often struggle to meet their daily needs. I hope with our efforts in No More Poverty and our other charities we will start to see some positive change.
Our duty to our global society is to rise to meet our own challenges and those of our neighbors. No More Poverty is one embodiment of the Omidi family’s commitment to uphold that duty. With your help, we can go much farther.
As global income inequality rises, so must our fight for more equally distributed wealth and opportunity. In the U.S. we have seen many families struggling after losing their incomes and even their homes. Without support systems to lift these people back up after they fall, it can be difficult for them to get back on track.
No More Poverty exists to support those organizations that help people when they fall. Martha’s Kitchen is a wonderful charity with a mission to feed the hungry with dignity. The Omidi family supports their selfless efforts to help the needy in a most significant way. Without groups like Martha’s Kitchen, many people would go hungry.
Poverty is a global issue. That’s why No More Poverty supports groups throughout the world in the fight against economic injustice. Charities large and small are answering the call of duty and doing their part to alleviate the many problems associated with poverty.
Extreme poverty is a societal issue that we can eradicate. My sons and I hope to help reach this goal through our philanthropic endeavors. Julian, Michael and myself have created our charities to help see this goal come to fruition. Please help us in the struggle against hunger and poverty.
